APSMS was formed with the pioneering efforts of Late Prof. N.Ch. Pattabhi Ramacharyulu\, the then Professor of Mathematics\, Re gional Engineering College\, Warangal (Now National Institute of Technolog y Warangal)\, and Late Prof. P.V. Arunachalam\, the then Professor of Math ematics\, Sri Venkateshwara University\, Tirupati\, & Former Vice Chancell or\, Dravidian University.\n\nNational Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) has th e mandate for establishment of ground stations for receiving satellite dat a\, generation of data products\, dissemination to the users\, development of techniques for remote sensing applications including disaster manageme nt support\, geospatial services for good governance and capacity building for professionals\, faculty and students.\n\nThe Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence (CCoE)\, located in Hyderabad\, serves as a global nexus for fo stering innovation\, entrepreneurship\, and capacity building in the realm s of Cybersecurity\, and privacy. Established as a collaborative effort be tween the Government of Telangana and DSCI\, the CCoE embodies DSCI's dedi cation to cultivating a secure and trusted cyberspace.\n\nEstablished in 1 969\, the Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS) aims to advance and diss eminate remote sensing technology for mapping\, planning\, and managing na tural resources and the environment. With a modest start of 56 members\, I SRS has grown into a leading professional body with over 6\,262 members. T he society organizes seminars\, symposia\, and publishes a monthly journal (JISRS) to fulfil its objectives. Notably\, ISRS is a member of the Inter national Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) and the Asia n Association on Remote Sensing (AARS).
