 SSIT event “#32 Algorithmic Prowess: The Mathematics Behind the AI Arms 
 Race&quot; held on 12th January 2024\, offered a thorough examination of the co
 mplex mathematical fundamentals behind the present-day artificial intellig
 ence (AI) arms race. With an insightful opening\, Shahjahan M\, set the st
 age for the webinar by explaining the role that algorithmic prowess plays 
 in the AI arms race. The talk focused on the exponential development of AI
  technologies and the vital role mathematical models play in extending the
  capabilities of AI. The participants acquired a thorough grasp of the com
 plexities of mathematics\, which encompassed fundamental ideas like linear
  algebra to more complex subjects. The use of mathematical models to creat
 e strategic AI algorithms for resource allocation and decision-making was 
 discussed. All of the participants received certificates of gratitude ackn
