  been a nice long 140 years\, hence this celebration. Details about its hi

 y updated/published .\n\nThe plan is to invite IEEE members and their fami
 lies\, friends and guests\, to come and enjoy a afternoon of museum visit\
 , followed by an evening reception appetizer buffet/hors d&#39;oeuvres\, then 
 a brief awards ceremony\, and distinguished IEEE speaker talks on the Futu
 re Challenges plus a sumptuous dinner. Also a special event gift bag will 
 be given to all attendees commemorating the occasion. ALL IEEE Student mem
 bers can get reimbursed after the event\, with proof of their current memb
