DESCRIPTION:The role of power electronics in supporting green electrificati
on has never been more critical. Today\, there are many categories of elec
tric vehicles (EVs)\, spanning a wide range of applications\, including el
ectric scooters\, electric bicycles (e-bikes)\, and electric motorcycles f
or urban commuting and recreation. Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs) a
re used for short trips within urban areas. Passenger electric cars\, both
fully electric and hybrid\, are designed for everyday use. Electric vans
cater to urban deliveries\, while electric buses serve public transportati
on needs. Electric trucks are used in logistics for heavy loads. Electric
utility vehicles (EUVs) support agriculture and industrial applications\,
and electric forklifts are common in warehouses for material handling.\n\n
This talk will discuss battery charger technology to support the deploymen
t and acceleration of green electrification and transportation. From small
to large applications\, what technology would you use and why?\n\nCo-spon
