DESCRIPTION:6th ICPS 2016 was held successfully held in IIT Delhi and India
 n Habitant Center\, New Delhi during 4\, 5 and 6th March 2016. The Sponsor

 vt. Ltd.\n\nOn day 1\, 3 tutorials were arranged. The following were the p
 resenters:\n\n1. Dr Prashant Pillai\, University of Bradford and Dr Aranya
  Chakraborty\, NCUC\; Wide-Area Control\, Communication\, and Cyber-Securi
 ty of NextGeneration Power Systems\n\n2. Prof B G Fernandes\, IIT Bombay\;
  Power electronic interface for microgrid applications\n\n3. Prof Ashok Pr
 adhan\, IIT Kharagpur.Wide area measurement based network protection\n\nAb
 out 100 participants attended the tutorials. The tutorials took place in t
 he new lecture hall complex of IIT Delhi.\n\nDay 2 and day 3 were full of 
 technical paper presentations. The event took place at India Habitat Centr
 e. 34 oral paper presentation sessions took place and around 200 papers we
 re presented. On day 2 and day 3\, invited talk of following persons were
