 WNC Section members and their families are invited to attend the 1st Annua
 l Summer Picnic.\n\nWhich will be held on Saturday\, September 21\, at Lak
 e Julian Park in Asheville from 11 am to 2 pm.\n\nJoin us at Picnic Shelte
 r #3\, right on the lake\, just past the boat docks\, for a great picnic l
 unch\n\nand the opportunity to socialize and have fun with fellow IEEE mem
 bers and their families.\n\nTHE FOOD\n\nFood will be served about 12 noon.
  All the essentials will be provided\, including BBQ pork\, chicken and Br
 isket\, rolls\, plates\, cups\, napkins\, utensils\, and bottled water. Me
 mbers should bring their own soft drinks (alcoholic beverages are not allo
 wed in the park)\, a ready-to-serve side dish to share\, and folding chair
 s.\n\nTHE FUN\n\nLake Julian Park offers outdoor games\, a playground\, pa
 ddle-boat rentals and water access along a picturesque 300-acre public lak
 e. Horseshoe pits are available for use on a first-come basis. Volleyballs
  and horseshoes can be checked out at no charge with proof of a driver’s
  license. An 18-basket disc golf course is located throughout the perimete
 r of the park. Feel free to bring any yard games (cornhole\, bean bag toss
 \, ring toss\, tug-of-war\, etc.) you may have on hand.\n\nFor more inform
