DESCRIPTION:Mathematical Artificial Intelligence\n\nBy Prof. Shui Yu\n\nUni
versity of Technology Sydney\n\nAbstract：\n\nArtificial Intelligence is
a leading topic in both academia and industry\, and explainable AI (XAI) i
s a critical and hot topic of the field. However\, we noticed that XAI is
not the core of the business\, and we expect deterministic AI models. In t
his talk\, we will report the current landscape of XAI\, and then introduc
e the next stage after XAI – Mathematical AI (MAI). We will mainly prese
nt how the mathematical tools\, such as differential geometry and group th
eory\, are used build deterministic AI models. At the end of the talk\, we
will present some cases of the application of MAI. We hope the talk will
shed light on the promising field for interested audience.\n\nSpeaker(s):
Dr. Shui Yu\n\nAgenda: \nFriday\, July 19\, 2024\n\n4:00pm - 5:15pm Pacifi
c Time Seminar with Q&A\n\nAny questions\, please contact Dr. Zhensheng Zh
