 ollege successfully conducted a Session on "Membership Drive" on 27th June
  2024.The event specially aiming to introduce them to the benefits and opp
 ortunities available through IEEE CS membership.\n\nThe event began with a
 n introduction to the IEEE Computer Society by Dr. Soma Prathibha\, Chapte
 r Advisor for IEEE CS SEC SBC. The presentation covered the history\, miss
 ion\, and vision of the IEEE Computer Society. Key points included the var
 ious benefits of IEEE CS membership\, such as access to cutting-edge resea
 rch\, professional development opportunities\, networking events\, and exc
 lusive resources. Additionally\, specific opportunities for student member
 s were highlighted\, including scholarships\, internships\, and participat
 ion in special interest groups and conferences.\n\nTo make the event more 
 interactive and engaging\, a quiz competition was conducted. The quiz test
 ed the students' knowledge on various topics related to IT and the IEEE Co
 mputer Society. The format included multiple-choice questions covering IT 
 concepts\, IEEE CS history\, and current trends in technology. Participati
 on was open to all 2nd year IT students attending the event. The top three
  performers in the quiz were awarded free IEEE Computer Society membership
 s as recognition of their knowledge and participation.Participants were en
 couraged to share their thoughts on the event\, providing valuable feedbac
 k on the presentation and the quiz. This session was crucial in understand
 ing the effectiveness of the membership drive and identifying areas for im
