DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Chattanooga Section invites you to join us for a Lunch
and Learn to hear from Grace Piercy as she speaks about the voltage sag i
mpact on large industrial consumers. This will be presented as a hybrid op
tion\, as we welcome you to attend in person at the Chattanooga Public Lib
rary where lunch will be provided. Read more below about the speaker and p
resentation topic.\n\nUnderstanding Voltage Sag Impact on Large Industrial
Consumers\n\nAuthors: TVA Transmission Operations Power Quality Group/Pre
sented by Grace Piercy.\n\nVoltage sags frequently result in downtime\, wa
ste\, and lost productivity for large industrial consumers. This presentat
ion will discuss how the Tennessee Valley Authority measures transmission-
level voltage sag performance through the Large Sensitive Consumer Voltage
Sag Impact (LSCVSI) metric. The presentation will summarize factors impac
ting consumer voltage sag exposure\, tools used to collect voltage sag imp
act data\, and how the LSCVSI metric enables targeted voltage sag impact m
 itigation.\n\nBio:\n\nGrace Piercy\, P.E. is a Senior Program Manager in t
he Tennessee Valley Auhtority Transmission Operations Power Quality group.
Prior to joining TVA\, Grace worked as an electrical design engineer for
industrial power and control systems. She holds Bachelor of Science in Eng
ineering and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of New Brunswick\, C
anada and is a registered professional engineer in Tennessee and Maine.\n\
nFor virtual participants\, Webex meeting invite will be sent once registr
ation closes.\n\n**1 PDH Available**\n\nRoom: Downtown 4th Floor Event Spa
