 ccess of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) across a numerous applicatio
 ns comes with a significant increase in computation and parameter storage 
 costs. To address these challenges\, recent efforts have been focused on p
 runing and compressing the weights of various layers while maintaining\, o
 r even enhancing\, performance. This session will explore CNN pruning tech
 niques by identifying and retaining the most relevant units—be it weight
 s or filters—through the calculation of various saliency scores\, includ
 ing Magnitude\, Sync Score\, and Taylor Series Score. We will also delve i
 nto the Brain Surgeon algorithm for pruning.\n\nBio Data of Prof.K.Anitha 
 Sheela: Dr. K. Anitha Sheela\, Professor &amp; former Head of ECE Department\,
  JNTUH College of Engineering\, JNTUH\, Hyderabad\, has obtained her B. Te
 ch (Electronics and Communication Engineering) from R.E.C Warangal and M .
 Tech from College of Engineering\, Osmania University\, and Ph.D. from JNT
  University.\n\nShe has guided 09 Research Scholars\, number of M.Tech and
  B.Tech projects.She published more than 100 articles in Journals and Conf
 erences.\n\nshe has published 2 books on Probability and Stochastic Proces
 s and few more e-books published by Springer.She has two  two Patents in t
 he fields of Battery Management System and Speech enabled Interactive Voic
