DESCRIPTION:The second Industry Academia Engagement Workshop on &#39;Industry 4
 .0 AI\, ML\, and Deep Learning Applications in Energy and Environment Engi
 neering’ was organised on 3rd August 2024. This event was supported by I
 ndustry Relations Committee of R10.\n\nIndustry and professional experts w
 orking in the domain of Energy and Environment Engineering’ were invited
  to the workshop. Faculty from academic institutions willing to work in En
 ergy and Environment were invited to the workshop. The role of PES Chapter
  was to bring together industries and academia for collaborative work in t
 he domain area.\n\nIndustry experts were from DPTS Enterprises\, SeeGreen 
 Solutions LLP\, G S Technocrats\, Chheda Electricals Pvt. Ltd.\, TCS\, SAS
  Powertech Pvt. Ltd.\, Cable industry. Academic institutions participated 
 were PVG’s COET and GKPIM\, JSPM’s JSCOE\, D Y Patil Institute of Tech
 nology\, JSPM’s RSCOE. There were representations from four academic ins
 titutions and eight industries.\n\nRepresentatives from Academic instituti
 ons shared efforts taken by the institution to improve the energy literacy
  among students\, facilities\, infrastructure and ecosystem available and 
 students interests for performing activities in the particular domain of E
 nergy and Environment Engineering such as e waste management\, water manag
 ement\, calculation of carbon footprint of campus\, e vehicle etc.\n\nProf
 essionals and industries in various domain of energy and environment were 
 enthusiastic in collaborating with academic institutions for providing dat
 a\, training\, internship and few projects.\n\nExperts from Industry and a
 cademia discussed various aspects related to Industry and Academia engagem
 ent related to AI\, ML and Deep learning applications to energy and enviro
 nment engineering.\n\no The outcome expected from this workshop:\n\n· Pos
