  Student Branch Chapter (PES) Student Branch Chapter (SBC) in IEEE Pune se
 ction at Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering\, Pune was inaugurated on T
 uesday\, 20th August\, 2024. During the event\, section heads and distingu
 ished guests inaugurated the PES SB board by unveiling it with the pulling
  of a curtain.\n\nThe chief guest for this event was Mr. Nandagopal Vaidya
 \, senior General Manager at TATA Motors Passenger Vehicle Limited and oth
 er invitees were were Mr. Anand Vijaykumar\, Deputy General Manager\, TATA
  Motors Limited\, Pune\, Dr. Surekha Deshmukh\, Chairperson IEEE Pune Sect
 ion\, Dr. Geetanjali Vaidya\, Chairperson PES-IAS IEEE Pune Section and Dr
 . Mandar Bhawalkar\, Treasurer IEEE Pune Section and Vice-chair IEEE PES-I
 AS Pune section.\nAfter that all the invitees shared their views at this e
 vent. Dr S.L.Chavan\, Head of Dept. for Electrical Engineering briefed abo
 ut various activities in the Electrical Engineering Department. Dr Avinash
  Badhade\, the Director for JSPM’S RSCOE delivered a keynote address. Dr
  A.S.Devasthali\, Vice Principal mentioned about the commitment of Institu
 tion to support the SBC. Dr. Geetanjali Vaidya\, Chair PES-IAS\, IEEE Pune
  Section\, mentioned in her speech the significance of the IEEE PES Studen
 t Branch’s launch and highlighted the opportunities for networking throu
 gh various activities. Dr. Surekha Deshmukh\, Chair\, IEEE Pune Section ur
 ged students to actively engage with the new IEEE PES Student Branch and t
 ake full advantage of the resources and opportunities available to them. C
