DESCRIPTION:The Materials Characterization Facility is a world-class\, mult
 i-user facility located at Carnegie Mellon University. The MCF provides ca
 pabilities for structural and chemical characterization of materials inclu
 ding electron microscopy\, scanning probe microscopy\, and x-ray diffracti
 on.\n\nThe tour will include a walkthrough of the facility with the highly
  qualified technical staff members\, demonstration of capabilities\, and m
