The Space Coa st Showndown event is one of the technical challenge events held by First Robotics to demonstrate technical capabilities of First Robotics teams\, f rom all over Florida. We are excited to host this event with the collaboration of FIRST Robotics and Brevard County Sch ools. The program will feature robotics competition consisting of a series of games where student robotics teams race to complete. specific objectiv es in each game. Students compete for honors and trophies. Should enough s ponsorship funds permit\, local Brevard County teams would be provided sti pends to participate in the competition. This program follows the mission of FIRST Robotics\, engaging K-12 students in mentor-based programs that b uild STEM skills. Participation of these students in the program will grea tly increase the likelihood of students entering STEM fields\, industry\, and will enable these future professionals to integrate advancing technolo gies in our evolving technology environment.\n\nAttendees: Individuals and organizations interested in space\, aeronautics\, manufacturing\, emergin g technologies.
