DESCRIPTION:Atlanta&#39;s IEEE AP/MTT joint-chapter is hosting its kickoff even
 t with a lunch and learn on October 4th from 11AM-12PM EST at the GTRI Con
 ference Center on 14th Street. We will briefly discuss this year&#39;s activit
 y plans for IEEE AP/MTT Atlanta and how to get involved with this joint-ch
 apter. As a treat\, we invited Dr. Gregory Durgin of Georgia Tech to give 
 a talk titled: &quot;PaddleSats and the Unlocking of Limitless Clean Energy fro
 m Space.&quot; (Talk abstract and speaker bio can be read below or on the attac
 hed flyer.) Food will be provided. Anyone interested is welcome to attend!

 ers for the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (APS) and Microwave Theo
 ry and Technique Society (MTTS) are merged to form the joint AP/MTT chapte
 r. We are composed of members at various stages of their careers\, who wor
 k and do research in various electromagnetics disciplines\, like antenna d
 esign\, microwave circuits\, RF systems analysis\, etc. We welcome any stu
 dents\, young professionals\, researchers\, and senior engineers in Atlant
 a to join our joint-chapter and participate in our technical and service a
