The event attracted key figures within the IEEE community\, m ost notably Prof. Maheshi Dissanayake\, Chair of the IEEE Central Region S ub-Section\, who attended as the chief guest. Prof. Dissanayake’s presen ce was a significant boost to the morale of the attendees\, emphasizing th e importance of the IEEE Student Branch in fostering leadership and innova tion among students. Dr. Ruwan Ranaweera\, Senior Lecturer and long-servin g Advisor and Senior Treasurer of the society\, also lent his guidance and support\, demonstrating his continued dedication to the growth of the stu dent branch.\n\nThe outgoing office bearers officially completed their ten ure by handing over their responsibilities to the newly elected office bea rers for the term 2024/25. The outgoing Chairperson acknowledged the achie vements of the previous year and expressed her gratitude to the team for t heir commitment and collaboration.
