DESCRIPTION:On IEEE Day 2024\, we are thrilled to host a series of engaging
  activities celebrating innovation and collaboration in the world of techn
 ology. The event will commence with participant registration\, followed by
  a traditional lighting of the oil lamp- a symbolic gesture that marks the
  beginning of our festivities. To add to the celebratory atmosphere\, we w
 ill also have a cake-cutting ceremony before transitioning into the formal
  inauguration of the day.\n\nThe program will include a warm welcome addre
 ss by our Master of Ceremonies\, who will introduce this year’s theme: A
 rtificial Intelligence (AI). This theme reflects IEEE’s commitment to nu
 rturing innovation and global collaboration in technology. We are honored 
 to have Professor Chaminda Rathnayaka\, our Branch Counselor\, deliver an 
 inspiring talk on how IEEE empowers students to become leaders in the fiel
 ds of AI and technology.\n\nOne of the highlights of the day will be a pan
 el discussion featuring our esteemed guest speaker\, Mr. Shamal De Silva. 
 Mr. De Silva is a seasoned machine learning engineer currently working at 
 OREL IT and Cue Card. With his experience as a research assistant at the U
 niversity of Kelaniya and his role as a visiting lecturer at NSBM Green Un
 iversity\, he brings a wealth of knowledge and insights into advancements 
 in AI. During the panel\, he will share his perspectives on the transforma
 tive impact of AI technologies and how they are shaping various industries
 .\n\nTo engage the audience further\, we will host an interactive quiz gam
 e featuring ten fun and challenging questions related to AI\, encouraging 
 participation and excitement among attendees. As we approach the conclusio
 n of the event\, a closing ceremony will take place\, where we will recogn
 ize the quiz winners and present certificates to all participants. We will
  also share a recap of the day’s highlights\, culminating in closing rem
 arks by the NSBM IEEE Student Branch IEEE Day Ambassador\, who will reflec
 t on the day’s discussions and express gratitude to everyone for their c
