DESCRIPTION:Abstract: Recent news has published information on technology a
nd infrastructure at risk for being compromised due to cyber-attacks. Ther
e are several instances in which these attacks have been successful and ha
ve resulted in great consequences. Integrating Cybersecurity into the engi
neering process will enable designs to be resilient against attacks and en
sure that the technology can operate in an increasingly hostile environmen
 t. This presentation will share examples of these attacks\, how to identif
y vulnerabilities in designs\, and a process that engineers can integrate
into their development cycle to include cybersecurity into their architect
 ure.\n\nSpeaker(s): Virginia Koday\, \n\nRoom: ECS 300\, Bldg: University
