The event began with a beautiful prayer son g\, establishing a positive atmosphere. We were honored to welcome our chi ef guests\, Dr. Anitha Juliet\, Dean of Research\, and Ms. Jennifer Suriya \, Head of the ECE Department. The welcome address was delivered by Amar\, a second-year ECE student and IEEE member volunteer\, followed by an intr oduction of the guests presented by Merlin Baptista\, a third-year ECE stu dent and Webmaster of the IEEE Photonics Society.\n\nFollowing this\, our Student Branch Counsellor and IEEE Photonics Society Advisor\, Dr.Dhilipku mar.S.\, welcomed the attendees and delivered the session on Volunteering in IEEE and Networking Opportunities. In his talk he emphasized the import ance of the IEEE society in the current landscape. He outlined upcoming ev ents\, competitions\, and resources available on the various IEEE websites \, applications and IEEE Learning Portal. Dr.Dhilipkumar also inspired the audience by highlighting the achievements of students who have won prizes and received opportunities to attend IEEE conferences worldwide. He showc ased how IEEE can potentially uplift the technical skillset and leadership quality in student members. Additionally\, he discussed plans to elevate the IEEE society within our college to the next level.\n\nAt the conclusio n of the event\, our student members organized a series of engaging activi ties to facilitate networking among participants\, with prizes awarded to the winners.
