DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Northern Canada Section has organized a technical tour
  of Powell Canada Inc. in Acheson on March 9. A bus will leave the Univers
 ity of Alberta Thursday morning (at 8:30 am) taking participants to the fa
 cility for the tour and return to Edmonton in the afternoon (at 12:30).\n\
 nThe bus will depart from the Donadeo Innovation Centre for Engineering (D
 ICE) building at University of Alberta. The address is 9211-116 Street NW\
 , Edmonton\, T6G1H9. We will meet in front of the DICE building on the 116
  street. The bus will leave at 8:30 am sharp.\n\n“Powell was founded in 
 1947 as a metal-working shop to support the local Houston\, Texas petroche
 mical facilities. While they began small\, the company has grown over the 
 past six decades to become the strategic supplier of choice for highly com
 plex and integrated systems for distribution and control of electrical ene
 rgy and other critical processes.\n\nToday\, the firm is headquartered in 
 Houston\, Texas and has locations in the United States\, Canada\, and the
