DESCRIPTION:EVENT DESCRIPTION:\nCipher Chase\, held on October 7\, 2024\, a
s part of IEEE Day 2024 celebrations at Sri\nSairam Engineering College\,
was a fast-paced two-round technical competition. The event\nchallenged pa
rticipants on both logical reasoning and technical coding skills\, testing
their\nability to solve puzzles and program effectively under pressure.\n
A total of 25 teams participated in the event\, each composed of two membe
rs. The first\nround was conducted via Educaplay\, focusing on future and
emerging technologies\, while the\nsecond round was held on HackerRank\, e
mphasizing multi-language programming.\nROUND 1:\nThe Turbo Track event be
gan with Round 0 on October 1st\, 2024\, serving as an online\npreliminary
session to help participants prepare for the main event. Teams attended a
n\ninformative Q&A session\, where they clarified competition rules and ex
pectations. The event\nteam showcased a demo RC car with basic features\,
giving participants a firsthand look at the\ndesign elements and performan
ce capabilities required for the competition. The session\nprovided valuab
le insights\, helping participants fine-tune their own models.\nTeams Pres
ented: 25\nNo. of Participants: 50\nROUND 2:\nIn the second round\, Treasu
re Hunt – Code to Win\, teams were challenged with multilanguage program
ming tasks on HackerRank. The round featured a unique dynamic where only\n
one team member could code at a time\, while the other was kept away from
the workspace.\nTeams were required to switch between coding turns\, makin
g seamless communication and\nstrategy critical for success. The task invo
lved solving programming problems in C\, Python\,\nJava\, and C++ to revea
l missing letters in a partially completed word. Success in this round\nde
manded not only technical proficiency in multiple programming languages bu
t also effective\ncollaboration between team members\, as they frequently
swapped roles. The top teams to\ncorrectly decode and complete the word by
solving all the coding challenges were declared the\nwinners.\nTeams Prese
