By examining the EU eHealth Network gui delines and their alignment with the ISO 27269 standards\, this lecture un derscores the importance of standardized\, accessible patient summaries in cross-border healthcare scenarios. The lecture extends to the real-world implementation of the EPS across Europe\, showcasing its current adoption in various countries and discussing plans for its future expansion.
