DESCRIPTION:On September 26th\, IEEE GIT organized a dynamic Student Orient
ation Program from 2 to 5 PM across multiple venues at KLS GIT\, including
the auditorium\, AF-31\, and AG-2. The event kicked off with an introduct
ion from the branch counsellor\, after which the 200 new students were div
ided into two batches. Each batch was split into three groups and sent to
different locations for activities. In the auditorium\, one group was furt
her divided—one half took on the String and Path Challenge\, while the o
ther participated in a fun game of "Translate and Guess the Lyrics\," wher
e they even got to perform the songs they guessed! By the end of the sessi
on\, both groups reconvened for a common quiz\, adding to the friendly com
petition. Meanwhile\, the WIE and Computer Society took their group to AF-
31\, where participants were organized into groups using QR codes. Each gr
oup had 8 members: 5 of them played an exciting balloon game\, while the r
emaining 3 took on a dare challenge. Winners were rewarded with chocolates
for their efforts. The ITS and AESS collaboration had its own twist\, whe
re participants engaged in a fun guessing game involving items placed on a
table. Two team members faced off across the table as a song played\, wit
h one trying to guess and grab the correct item\, then performing with it.
The team with the most items and the best performances came out victoriou
s. With a total of 200 participants and 50 dedicated volunteers\, the enti
re orientation was filled with laughter\, excitement\, and friendly compet
ition\, ensuring that the new students received a warm and engaging welcom
e to the IEEE GIT community.\n\n[] [] []\n\nCo-sponsored by: KLS's Gogte I
