 University successfully hosted IEEE Day on October 4\, 2024\, in collabora
 tion with the STEM club at Christ Ambassadors College\, Mgbakwu. The event
  aimed to inspire young minds about the limitless possibilities of technol
 ogy.\n\nThe event commenced with a captivating introduction by Engr. Dozie
  Ekwunife\, the PES Student Branch Coordinator. He provided a comprehensiv
 e overview of IEEE\, its mission\, and vision to advance technology for th
 e betterment of humanity. Engr. Dozie emphasized the importance of harness
 ing technology to address societal challenges and improve quality of life.
  He also highlighted potential projects and activities that the students c
 ould undertake to contribute to their communities.\n\nFollowing the introd
 uction\, Ochuba Ebubechukwu Benedict\, the President of the PES Nnamdi Azi
 kiwe University Branch accompanied by the vice Chair\, Morah Sopuluchukwu 
 Michael\, delivered an insightful address on the Power and Energy Society.
  He discussed the society&#39;s goals\, achievements\, and its commitment to p
 roviding access to electricity and renewable energy to underserved communi
 ties.\n\nTo showcase their technological prowess\, the students demonstrat
 ed their skills in Python programming. They developed a simple data collec
 tor application that could be used to efficiently document information in 
 various settings\, such as schools and hospitals. The IEEE Nnamdi Azikiwe 
 University Student Branch encouraged the students to explore innovative ap
 plications of Python and continue their creative pursuits.\n\nAs a token o
 f support for the STEM club\, IEEE donated a robotics kit. This valuable r
 esource will enable the students to engage in hands-on robotics projects a
 nd further develop their technical skills.\n\nThe IEEE Day celebration at 
 Christ Ambassadors College was a resounding success\, fostering a spirit o
 f collaboration\, innovation\, and technological advancement among the you
