DESCRIPTION:IEEE Day is a global celebration held annually\, commemorating
the first time IEEE members gathered to share their technical ideas. At IE
EE ESPRIT Student Branch\, we seized this occasion with a two-part event.\
n\nIn one hand \, on September 29th\, 2024\, we hosted a team building eve
nt at Le Chalet Events\, offering a chance for our new members to integrat
e into the IEEE family while celebrating this special occasion together. T
he day began with a brief introduction to IEEE\, highlighting its mission
and goals.\n\nWe then engaged in interactive activities such as IEEE theme
d quizzes\, team games\, and karaoke\, helping everyone bond in a fun and
relaxed atmosphere. Our IEEE booth\, beautifully decorated in IEEE Day col
ors\, featured flyers\, cakes\, and other celebratory items. Members proud
ly wore their IEEE Day shirts\, and we captured the moment with a group ph
oto in front of the booth\, commemorating our shared enthusiasm for techno
logy and community.\n\nAdditionally\, we introduced a special feedback boa
rd designed with IEEE Day colors\, where members could share their thought
s\, feedback\, and expectations about their journey with IEEE. This intera
ctive element gave everyone the opportunity to express their ideas and con
tribute to the branch's future growth.\n\nIn another hand \, we continued
the IEEE DAY celebration while inviting our all IEEE ESPRIT Student Branch
members on the 09th of October In Amphiatre of ESPRIT \, we commenced the
gathering by an opening word from our IEEE ESPRIT Student Branch chair we
lcoming our guest Mr Mekki Ksouri \, the IEEE ESPRIT Student Branch counci
lor as well as Mr Ala Chalghaf the IEEE IES SAC chair & the IEEE R8 WIE CR
SP member \, Ms Malek Miri the IEEE ESPRIT Student Branch former vice chai
r \, also Ms Abir Tabarki \, the IEEE AESS Undergraduate Student Represent
ative to be a part of the journey \, begging by introducing the IEEE missi
on \, goals and benefits as well as personal experience . Later on a panel
discussion led by Takwa Fguiri the IEEE ESPRIT Student Branch chair \, in
which Mr Ala \, Ms Abir and Ms Malek shared their IEEE experience from be
ing a IEEE Esprit member to ther current positions \, mentioning their ach
eievement \, experience highliting the ups and downs \, their favourite me
mory within the IEEE .\n\nThe discussion also covered the many benefits an
d opportunities that IEEE offers\, such as grants and awards\, further mot
ivating our members to explore and take advantage of these resources.\n\nT
o wrap up the in person event\, we held an engaging IEEE quiz\, with prize
s awarded to the top three participants\, encouraging member involvement w
ithin the IEEE community.\n\nIn addition to the on site technical program\
, an online component of IEEE Day was hosted by various IEEE ESPRIT Studen
t Branch units. This virtual event extended the celebration to members who
could not attend in person\, offering them workshops and technical discus
sions\, ensuring all members could engage in the learning and celebration\
, regardless of their location.\n\nthe workshops were the following :\n1.
AESS: Cybersecurity in Aerospace by Oussama Ben Hadj Dahmen\n2. CIS: Gen z
