 024 at Peoria's Career Spark event.\n\nIn total\, the event (hosted by the
  Greater Peoria Economic Development Council and Junior Achievement of Cen
 tral Illinois) drew about 4\,000 students from 70 area schools. This activ
 ity gave students an opportunity to participate in a hands-on activity: as
 sembling their own circuit using a breadboard that flashed an LED using a 
 555 timer. Over 150 students build a functioning 555 circuit and were able
