DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Day celebrations were held as part of the Kochi Hub Me
 et 2024\, organized by IEEE Kerala Section and IEEE LINK Kochi Hub Team\, 
 hosted by IEEE Student Branch ASIET. The event was a vibrant gathering of 
 IEEE members\, young professionals and students\, aimed at fostering commu
 nity spirit and awareness about IEEE’s contributions to technology and s
 ociety.\n\nThe celebration commenced with an interactive session led by Th
 omas K. Gimmy\, the dynamic speaker and LINK Mentor for Kochi Hub. Thomas\
 , who serves as the Secretary of the Public Visibility Committee of the Ke
 rala Section and holds several other volunteer roles\, delivered an engagi
 ng talk introducing IEEE\, its history\, and various activities. The parti
 cipants were actively involved in the discussion\, gaining insights into I
 EEE’s impact on technological innovation and professional development.\n
 \nFollowing the session\, a quiz on IEEE’s history and significant miles
 tones was conducted\, featuring a live leaderboard. Attendees participated
  enthusiastically in this competitive trivia\, testing their knowledge of 
 IEEE’s achievements. A winner emerged and was awarded a prize as a token
  of appreciation for their knowledge and engagement.\n\nLater\, esteemed m
 embers of the Kerala Section Professional ExCom joined the celebrations. N
 otable guests included Mrs. Bijuna Kunju K.\, IEEE KS Vice Chairperson\; M
 rs. Mini Ulanat\, Immediate Past KS Chair and member of the IEEE Diversity
  and Inclusion Committee\; Mr. K.R. Suresh Nair\, member of the IEEE Nomin
 ations and Appointments Committee\; and Dr. M.V. Rajesh Maliyeckal\, Immed
 iate Past Chair of Kochi Subsection. Dr. Neema M.\, IEEE SB ASIET Branch C
 ounsellor\, and other SB chapter advisors were also present\, contributing
  to the event&#39;s success.\n\nThe guests collectively cut a cake\, marking t
 he 15th anniversary of IEEE Day. The event concluded with a sharing sessio
 n\, where attendees and guests reflected on their journeys and experiences
  within IEEE. This sharing created a sense of warmth and camaraderie\, lea
 ving participants feeling welcomed and inspired to further engage with the
