In his speech\, he emphasized the import ance of data-driven technologies in agriculture and sustainability.\n\nIn addition to the keynote\, several key figures from different fields were p resent:\n\n- K.N. Subramanya\, Principal\, RV Engineering College\n- Cheta n Anand\, Information Security and CISO\, Profinch Solutions\n- Colonel Ja i Govind\, Assistant Professor\, Christ University\n\n*Dr. Chengappa Munja ndira\, Senior Technologist at HP Enterprise and Chair of IEEE SIGHT Banga lore Section\, highlighted the importance of nurturing young talent and en couraging interdisciplinary research among students. He emphasized the nee d for students to go beyond traditional boundaries and explore various fie lds. In his opening address\, he remarked that engineering students can pl ay a pivotal role in achieving UNSDG goals: "Engineering is not just about gaining knowledge\, but about envisioning a sustainable future and levera ging technology to bring it to reality." He also stressed the importance o f the **engineering community* actively contributing to UNSDG goals\, poin ting out that *innovative technologies like AI and Blockchain* have immens e potential to address global challenges such as *climate change\, water s carcity\, and food security*. He urged the academic community to encourage students to undertake interdisciplinary research using technology to deve lop solutions to these pressing issues.
