Dr. Priyanka Dalal then int roduced IEEE Day and highlighted the benefits of IEEE society membership f or B.Tech students.\n\nThe day featured two key activities: a PowerPoint P resentation Competition and an Arduino Workshop. The presentation competit ion\, held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.\, saw 12 students showcase innova tive ideas and emerging technologies\, including solutions for women’s s afety using AI\, smart fabrics\, and energy storage. After lunch\, from 2: 00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.\, Dr. Ritu Boora led an Arduino Workshop attended by 30 students\, providing them with hands-on experience in Arduino programmi ng and practical applications. The valedictory session at 4:00 pm marked t he official closing of the IEEE Day 2024 celebrations in which trophies an d certificates were given to the competition winners\, volunteers and part icipating students.
