DESCRIPTION:The AI Unlocked event\, organized by IEEE IMS\, unfolded with g
reat enthusiasm and\nenergy. Our esteemed speaker\, Jayesh Pingale\, a gra
duate of VIT Pune from last year\,\ndelivered an inspiring session. This e
vent was organized on the occasion of IEEE Day.\nFollowing the inauguratio
n\, a thought-provoking conversation took place between Jayesh\nPingale\,
Dr. Sanika Patankar\, Prof. Vijaykumar Bhanuse\, club heads Janhavi Awari
and\nNarayani Wategaonkar\, along with club coordinators Apoorva Kunte\, S
aumitra Kulkarni\,\nAryaa Kher\, Soham Kalambharkar\, and attending school
students. Their insights set the\nstage for a truly enlightening experien
ce.\nApproximately 50 students from Vishwakarma Vidyalaya attended the ses
sion titled "AI\nUnlocked." This session offered them a unique opportunity
to explore the world of artificial\nintelligence and its practical applic
ations. School student groups\, guided by second-year\nengineering student
s from the Instrumentation Department\, were led through an engaging\nand
informative event. The engineering students showcased AI-related projects\
, providing\ninsights into how AI can benefit students in various fields.
The session covered fundamental\nconcepts of AI\, including real-life appl
ications like ChatGPT and other AI tools. The\nengineering students explai
ned the functionality of AI technologies in a way that was relatable\nand
easy to understand. These explanations enriched the students' knowledge\,
offering\nvaluable insights into how AI is shaping the world around them.\
nTo enhance the learning experience\, the session included graphical repre
sentations of AI\nsystems\, making complex concepts more accessible. This
hands-on\, peer-to-peer approach\nallowed the school students to directly
interact with their slightly older peers\, making the\nexperience both eng
aging and educational. The session encouraged a dynamic exchange of\nknowl
edge between students from different educational backgrounds\, fostering a
n\natmosphere of curiosity and learning. Feedback was actively sought from
both the school\nfaculty and students to ensure continuous improvement fo
r future events. The session\nconcluded with a felicitation ceremony to ac
knowledge the efforts of the organizing\ncommittee\, speakers\, and partic
ipating students. A heartfelt vote of thanks expressed gratitude\nto every
one involved\, emphasizing the collaborative effort that made the AI Unloc
ked session\na resounding success.\n\nCo-sponsored by: IEEE Pune Section \
