DESCRIPTION:System integrated circuit (IC) design is the key step to move f
orward to next-generation wireless communication systems where low-power t
 ransceivers\, secure connectivity\, and energy-efficient high-speed links
all matter. As system ICs with advanced CMOS technology demand not only lo
w-power but also low-voltage design\, matching and linearity problems in t
he design of mixed-signal circuits have become more critical than ever. In
this talk\, the importance of building strong mixed-signal circuit IPs wi
th innovative circuit design is addressed for frequency modulation\, demod
 ulation\, fine ranging\, and energy-efficient transmission. Then\, ultra-w
ideband (UWB) transceivers based on novel mixed-signal circuits are presen
 ted for mobile authentication\, in-vehicle infotainment (IVI)\, brain-comp
 uting interface (BCI)\, and real-time location applications.\n\nChengdu\,
