DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the 6th Joint Annual Meeting of the IEEE Magnetics S
 ociety\, Chicago Chapter and South East Michigan (SEM) Chapter and IEEE Na
 notechnology Council Chicago Chapters\, to be held in a hybrid form (in-pe
 rson plus on Zoom) with in-person venue at Northwestern University on Frid
 ay\, November 15\, 2024. The meeting will provide free breakfast &amp; lunch a
 nd face-to-face interaction with the local Chicago researchers in Magnetic
 s and Nanotechnology as well as researchers from Michigan!\n\nThe meeting 
 will convene local and international academics\, professionals and student
 s with broad interests in magnetics and nanotechnology. The meeting will p
 rovide a forum for highlighting the latest advances in magnetism\, spintro
 nics\, nanotechnology\, and nanoelectronics\, and will provide opportuniti
 es to facilitate networking and collaboration.\n\nHighlights:\n\nThis year
  the joint IEEE Annual Meeting will be an inter-chapter in-person event be
 tween IEEE MagSoc Chicago and SEM Chapters to promote cross-state interact
 ion and collaboration. We have also invited an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer
  (Prof. Sanjukta Bhanja from University of South Florida) to give an in-pe
