DESCRIPTION:The 24th IEEE International Conference on Communication Technol
 ogy (referred to as IEEE ICCT 2024)\, sponsored by IEEE Beijing Section an

 ong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou)\, Beijing University 
 of Posts and Telecommunications\, and Singapore University of Technology a
 nd Design\, and Technical Co-Sponsored by IEEE Chengdu Section\, was succe
 ssfully held in Chengdu from October 18 to 20\, 2024.\n\nOn the morning of
  19th\, Professor Hongke Zhang\, academician of the CAE Member\, chairman 
 of the conference and professor of Beijing Jiaotong University\, delivered
  an opening speech. He reviewed the development of communication technolog
 y from telegraph and telephone to mobile Internet\, 5G and even future 6G\
 , and emphasized China&#39;s remarkable achievements in 5G construction\, Inte
 rnet of Things and other fields.\n\nProfessor Lingjiang Kong\, Vice Presid
 ent of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China\, deli
 vered a welcome speech. Vice President Kong warmly welcomed the guests who
  came from afar and reviewed the glorious history of IEEE ICCT since its e
 stablishment in 1986. President Kong Ling cordially invites all guests to 
 have a deep understanding of Chengdu\, feel the charm of the University of
  Electronic Science and Technology of China\, and discuss the future devel
 opment of communication technology together.\n\nProfessor Yang Yang from t
 he Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) introduced t
 he preparatory work and subsequent academic activity arrangements of this 
 conference to the attending representatives. The opening ceremony was pres
 ided over by Professor Ying-Chang Liang from the University of Electronic 
 Science and Technology of China.\n\nAcademician of the Canadian Academy of
  Engineering\, IEEE Fellow\, and Professor Xuemin (Sherman) Shen from the 
 University of Waterloo in Canada delivered a keynote speech titled &quot;Holist
 ic Network Virtualization: AI Native 6G&quot; at the conference.\n\nProfessor G
 eoffrey Ye Li\, IEEE Fellow and IET Fellow\, from Imperial College London 
 delivered a keynote speech titled &quot;Fast Adaptation for Deep Learning based
  Wireless Communications&quot;.\n\nProfessor Jianhua Zhang from Beijing Univers
 ity of Posts and Telecommunications delivered a keynote speech at the conf
 erence titled &quot;6G Channel Research Recent Progress: Modeling\, Prediction\
 , and Digital Twin&quot;.\n\nProfessor Sumei Sun\, IEEE Fellow\, from the Singa
 pore Institute of Science and Technology delivered a keynote speech titled
  &quot;Integrated Sensing\, AI\, and 6G: Opportunities and Challenges&quot;.\n\nProf
 essor Fumiyuki Adachi\, IEEE Life Fellow and IEICE Life Fellow\, from Toho

 Professor Honggang Zhang\, IEEE Fellow\, from Zhejiang University shared a
  talk titled &quot;Wireless LLM Inference within the Framework of AI Native Net
 GPT&quot;.\n\nProfessor Meixia Tao\, IEEE Fellow\, from Shanghai Jiao Tong Univ
 ersity delivered a keynote speech titled &quot;Learning based Coding and Transm
 ission for Semantic Communications&quot;.\n\nOn the afternoon of the 18th\, IEE
 E ICCT 2024 held 5 tutorials (training courses) activities specifically fo
 r attendees and awarded four special awards including Best Paper Award\, Y
 oung Scientist Award\, Best Poster Report Award\, and Best Oral Report Awa
 rd. In addition\, the conference also added the IEEE ICCT 6G Industry Foru
 m\, hosted by China Mobile Research Institute to conduct discussions on 6G
 . The conference lasted for three days. In addition to the seven keynote r
