 ot-\n\nThe IEEE Tokyo Section has been organizing Career Development Works
 hops to support students and young engineers. This year marks the 15th wor
 kshop. It invites active and former researchers and engineers from industr
 y\, research\, and education as facilitators (mentors). Participants engag
 ed in group discussions on career and skill development to shift their min
 dset and help shape their future careers. This year’s workshop will expa
 nd to include mid-career professionals\, with experienced Life Members joi
 ning as facilitators. This offers participants the chance to network and d
 iscuss with a more diverse group. Additionally\, this workshop serves as a
  pilot for the IEEE LMC&#39;s Group Mentoring Initiative.\n\nEvent Overview\n\
 n- Date: Saturday\, November 16\, 2024\, 14:00–17:30 (Networking recepti
 on: 18:00–20:00)\n- Venue: 3-5-8\, Shiba Koen. Minato-ku\, Tokyo\, Kikai
 -Shinko-Kaikan\, Room 6D-4\n- Target audience: University students\, gradu
 ate students\, young and mid-career professionals (others are also welcome
 )\n- Capacity: 30 participants\n- Facilitators: 4 (including 2 Life Member
 s)\n- Participation fee: Free (Networking reception fee separate)\n- Event
  format: In-person only\n\nEvent Details\n\nParticipants was divided into 
 4 groups\, each led by a facilitator (mentor). Each group engaged in discu
 ssions based on a theme set by the facilitator. The discussions took place
  in a brainstorming format using poster boards and Post-it notes. At the e
 nd\, each group presented a summary of their discussion. Following the eve
 nt\, a networking reception was held in a standing buffet style\, allowing
