DESCRIPTION:On the 25th of August\, 2024\, IEEE Y2NPro conducted the third 
 webinar in their Battery Technology and Charging Infrastructure for Electr
 ic Vehicles Workshop Series. Held virtually at 6 p.m.\, the session featur
 ed Dr. Beshan Kulapala\, Vice President of Technology and Innovation at Vo
 lt Charge\, Saudi Arabia\, and CEO of Cyrus Sri Lanka.\n\nTitled “Chargi
 ng Infrastructure Innovations II\,” the webinar focused on the advanceme
 nts in EV charging networks\, with Dr. Kulapala drawing from his vast expe
 rience in founding Vega Innovations and developing South Asia’s first el
 ectric supercar. His presentation provided participants with insights into
  building large-scale charging networks\, such as Sri Lanka’s Chargenet\
 , and discussed the integration of EV infrastructure with innovative techn
 ologies in the field. He also shared his experiences from working at Intel
  Corporation\, offering a unique perspective on technological leadership.\
