DESCRIPTION:The SPSU IEEE Day 2024 was a remarkable success\, celebrating t
 he prestigious legacy of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engin
 eers (IEEE) and marking the official inauguration of the IEEE SPSU Student
  Branch.\n\nThe event commenced with a keynote address that emphasized IEE
 E&#39;s pivotal role in shaping the future of technology\, setting a tone of i
 nnovation and excellence. Esteemed guests\, including Prof. (Dr.) Prithvi 
 Yadav\, Vice Chancellor of SPSU\, and Dr. Prasun Chakraborti\, Directorate
  of Research and Publications and Dean of International Affairs\, were wel
 comed with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony\, honoring their contribut
 ions to academia and their support of this significant milestone.\n\nA maj
 or highlight was the inauguration of the IEEE SPSU Student Branch\, symbol
 izing a step forward in promoting academic excellence\, innovation\, and c
 ollaboration among students. The day featured inspiring talks by distingui
 shed speakers\, including\n\n- Dr. Anand Krishnan Plappally from IIT Jodhp
 ur\n- Mr. Sanket Dangi\, Co-Founder of KansoCloud\n- Dr. Bharat Singh Deor
 a from JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University\n\nwhose insights sparked a ren
 ewed passion for technology among attendees. An inter-college Ideathon com
 petition\, held on September 30th\, showcased the creativity and problem-s
 olving abilities of budding engineers\, with winning projects that demonst
 rated impressive ingenuity\; the awards went to\n\n- NextIn from GITS (1st
  Place)\n- CuraTech from SPSU (2nd Place)\n- ECO Hustlers from GITS (3rd P
 lace)\n\nAnother milestone achievement was the launch of the IEEE SPSU Wom
 en in Engineering (WIE) Branch\, an initiative aimed at fostering diversit
 y\, inclusivity\, and empowerment within the tech sector. A poster-making 
 competition celebrating the contributions of female engineers saw outstand
 ing creativity\, with\n\n- Rajula Aurshitha Reddy\, Wasfa Haider Kazmi\, a
 nd Jyoti Pandey winning first place\n- followed by T. Neeharika\, B. Spurt
 hi\, and V. Vasavi in second place\, and\n- Vennela\, G. Lekha Sri\, N. Va
