After briefly discussing the current sta te of AI/ML methods for sensing in CPS-IoT systems\, I will focus on the n ew opportunities and challenges for CPS-IoT emerging from Foundation Model s\, including Large Language/Multimodal Models\, that have caused tremendo us and broad excitement in AI.
