He is the founder/CEO of Aligned Security and Docent Institute\, which promotes cybersecurity education and outreac h to underserved communities. John earned his Ph.D. in Physics from UT-Aus tin. He has experience across all sectors\, starting at Los Alamos Nationa l Laboratory and subsequently as a security leader at large enterprises\, including John Deere\, Deloitte\, and Campbell Soup Company. He has develo ped and taught numerous cybersecurity courses online and in person for col leges over 20 years.\n\nDr. Johnson serves on the ISSA International Board of Directors\, is the ISSA Education Foundation Director of Fundraising\, and is an active leader within ISC2\, InfraGard\, and IEEE\; currently se rving as Vice Chair of the Iowa-Illinois Section and Chair of the Iowa-Ill inois Computer Society Chapter.
