  presentation will explore the ethical misuse\, systemic risk\, and cascad
 ing failures that arise as technology evolves faster than regulation and c
 urrent cybersecurity measures. Key topics include the threat landscape of 
 adversarial AI\, the potential for quantum computing to crack encryption a
 nd expose secrets\, and the unintended consequences of technological progr
 ess. Attendees will gain insights into the challenges and strategies for d
 efending against these emerging threats in the coming years and decades.\n
 \nAbout the Speaker:\n\nDr. John D. Johnson is a cybersecurity executive w
 ith over 30 years of experience. He is the founder/CEO of Aligned Security
  and Docent Institute\, which promotes cybersecurity education and outreac
 h to underserved communities. John earned his Ph.D. in Physics from UT-Aus
 tin. He has experience across all sectors\, starting at Los Alamos Nationa
 l Laboratory and subsequently as a security leader at large enterprises\, 
 including John Deere\, Deloitte\, and Campbell Soup Company. He has develo
 ped and taught numerous cybersecurity courses online and in person for col
 leges over 20 years.\n\nDr. Johnson serves on the ISSA International Board
  of Directors\, is the ISSA Education Foundation Director of Fundraising\,
  and is an active leader within ISC2\, InfraGard\, and IEEE\; currently se
 rving as Vice Chair of the Iowa-Illinois Section and Chair of the Iowa-Ill
 inois Computer Society Chapter. His leadership roles within IEEE have incl
 uded MGA Awards and Recognition Chair\, IEEE-USA VP of Communications\, an
 d Computer Society Board of Governors. He founded the QC Cybersecurity All
 iance and CornCon Cybersecurity Conference and has been a founding board m
 ember for cyber education nonprofits and corporate advisory boards. He is 
 a frequent speaker and serves on program committees for industry conferenc
