 maceuticals\, textiles\, agriculture\, food production\, printing and publ
 ishing\, plastics\, metals\, information technology\, building and constru
 ction materials\, recreation\, and many others. How effectively companies 
 in these industries utilize nanotechnology in the years ahead will be cruc
 ial to their competitiveness. Pennsylvania has taken on the challenge to e
 ducate a nanotechnology enabled workforce to assist companies in their jou
 rney in the nano regime\, and has been recognized as the national leader i
 n nanotechnology undergraduate education.\n\nDr. Leena Pattarkine\, Harris
 burg University Science and Technology\, Harrisburg\, PA\n\nAbstract: With
  infusion of innovative materials as well as technologies in devices and p
 roducts for easier\, cost-effective\, and minimally invasive healthcare te
 chnologies\, the merger of ‘Nano with Bio’ is getting stronger and mor
 e attractive to researchers and the industry. This presentation will intro
 duce the attendees to innovations made possible due to nanobiotechnology\,
