DESCRIPTION:This is a joint meeting of Canadian Society of Senior Engineers
  and IEEE Life Members Affinity Groups.\n\nThis series of presentations ha

 o the IEEE Northern Canada Section (NCS) Life Members Affinity Group (LMAG

 xpected benefits of the project and how CABR fits into Alberta’s Vision 
 for Passenger Rail. CABR&#39;s Solution for Tunnelling the Green Line (Calgary
  Airport Downtown Express Plus 15 Solution)\n\nBio: Bruce Graham is the Ex
 ecutive Director of Friends of Calgary Airport to Banff Rail (CABR) an ind
 ependent not-for-profit entity created to increase awareness and advocate 
 for passenger rail service in the Bow Valley Corridor (https://friendsofca
 br.com/). Bruce is also engaged in local government and stakeholder relati
 ons on behalf of the CABR Proponents (Liricon Capital and Plenary Americas
 ).\n\nCABR has a recently revised proposal through the Province’s Unsoli
 cited Proposal Framework to provide passenger Rail Service from Downtown C
 algary to Banff at no cost to the Province recognizing the Provinces desir
 e to build and operate Calgary Airport to Downtown passenger rail service 
 with connectivity to Regional Rail Service including CABR\, Calgary Transi
 t LRT and future High-Speed Rail service from Edmonton to Calgary.\n\nCABR
  and Friends of CABR have presented a potential solution to connecting the
  Green Line to Downtown Calgary as an alternative to tunnelling through do
 wntown a solution for which the Province is currently investigating. The C
 algary Airport Downtown Express (CADE) Plus 15 solution is intended to be 
 a viable solution to connecting the Green Line and the Calgary Airport wit
 h Passenger Rail Service to Downtown Calgary while preserving the opportun
 ity for Region Rail Service in keeping with the Province&#39;s vision for pass
 enger rail service in Alberta.\n\nPreviously\, Bruce was the inaugural Pre
