 Ayyagari Sambasiva Rao (1914–2003)\, or A. S. Rao\, was a prominent Indi

 ). Known for his contributions to engineering and international representa
 tion of India\, Dr. Rao earned numerous honors\, including the Padma Shri\
 , Padma Bhushan\, and the Shanti Swaroop Bhatnagar Award. A.S. Rao Nagar i
 n Secunderabad is named in his honor\, and his legacy continues to inspire
