DESCRIPTION:The IEEE Student Branch at NUTECH organized an educational fiel
 d visit to the Karot Hydropower Plant\, a 720MW run-of-river project on th
 e Jhelum River. This visit was an excellent opportunity for participants t
 o gain practical knowledge about hydropower generation. The day started wi
 th an introductory session covering the dam's structure\, safety protocols
 \, and the significance of the project in Pakistan's energy landscape. Par
 ticipants observed the electricity generation process during a guided tour
  of the plant\, learning about turbine and generator operations. After lun
 ch\, the visit concluded with a tour of the control room\, where the entir
 e plant's operations are managed. The visit was highly informative and gre
 atly enhanced participants' understanding of hydropower systems and contro
