EE RAS: Partner Collaborations\,Upcoming Workshops\, and Event Planning\n\
n🧑‍💻 Notes and Decisions\nSponsorship Updates:\n1. Meetings with P
artners\na. Amine and Tayssir held two meetings with potential partners: W
e Make\n3D and 619 Labs.\nb. These startups proposed to collaborate with I
EEE RAS for workshops\naimed at a group of around 20 students\, focusing o
n 3D initiation\nworkshops in collaboration with CIM.\n\nc. These workshop
s are expected to take place after the first week of\nexams\, with trainer
s from both startups providing training to our\nmembers.\n\n2. Partnership
with 619 Labs\na. 619 Labs\, located in Ghazela\, will assist IEEE RAS wi
th PCB (Printed\nCircuit Board) workshops and other technical sessions.\nb
. Next week\, 619 Labs representatives will visit the IEEE office\, where
a\ncontract will be signed to formalize the collaboration.\nc. The agreeme
nt includes support from 619 Labs to provide PCBs for\ncompetitions like E
urobot\, TSYP Congress\, and other events without\nfinancial compensation.
\n\n3. Workshop Planning\na. Dates and content for workshops in PC and IoT
are still under discussion.\nb. Industrial visits are also being arranged
\, with 619 Labs offering to provide\nindustry contacts.\n\n4. Ongoing Sea
rch for Additional Sponsors\na. The club continues to seek additional spon
sors.\nb. Rami Troudi\, the IEEE RAS Treasurer\, has sent emails to potent
ial\nsponsors\, including Saida and LBM\, and we are awaiting their respon
ses.\n\nTechnical Activities Updates:\n1. Advanced Arduino Sessions\na. Th
e second session of Arduino training will focus on communication\nprotocol
s and will be delivered by Mohamed Karim Ben Boubaker and\nAhmed Cherif\,
both members of the technical team.\n\n2. Collaboration with ECBC\na. Amin
e spoke with Oussema Jlassi\, and they agreed to prepare the\nchallenge sk
eleton with Tayssir. The challenge will take place during the\nsecond seme
ster to allow time for fundraising.\n\n3. Internship Opportunities\na. Tay
ssir confirmed that both We Make 3D\, and 619 Labs are willing to\nprovide
internship opportunities for our members\, a topic that will be\nfurther
discussed with the partners.\n\n4. Project Axis Planning\na. Projects will
be prepared during the first semester with brainstorming\nsessions\, wher
e students can choose projects to work on.\nb. Due to logistical issues\,
the Orange Digital Center may be involved in the\nproject axis.\n\nc. This
year’s projects will be aligned with third-year students' professional\
nprojects and fourth-year students' final project assignments\, encouragin
g\nthem to integrate their work into their final presentations.\n\nUpcomin
g Events:\n1. NRW and IANS Merger\na. The IEEE INSAT SB board proposed mer
ging NRW and IANS. A decision\nwill be made during an upcoming meeting wit
h the IEEE INSAT SB\, RAS\,\nand CS chapter boards.\n2. Reuse of Previous
Competition Maps\na. An idea was proposed to reuse old competition maps\,
allowing teams to\ncompete against one another\, with one team qualifying
for the finals. This\nidea may be realized in collaboration with Aerobotix
.\n\n3. ENSI Competition (October 13\, 2024)\na. Preparations for the ENSI
competition include working overnight at INSAT\non Saturday\, October 12\
, to finalize robot testing.\nb. The team is discussing logistics\, includ
ing transportation arrangements.\n4. Team Building Activity\na. The format
of this year’s team-building event remains undecided.\nb. Amine suggest
ed a camping location in Borj Cedria that accommodates\nup to 32 people an
d offers seaside views.\n\n5. RTC Info Session\na. Tayssir will organize a
n info session about RTC (Robotics and Technology\nConference)\, potential
ly on Monday\, with poster preparation already in\nprogress.\nMedia Strate
gy Updates:\n1. Media Improvements\na. Ines Ben Moussa suggested creating
short introductory videos for each\nupcoming training session to generate
interest.\n\nb. She also proposed conducting a student questionnaire on ro
botics-\nrelated concepts at INSAT\, with a member explaining the correct
answers\n\nat the end of the video.\n\nAction Items:\n• Amine & Tayssir:
\n\nFinalize the partnership agreement with We Make 3D and 619 Labs during
their\nvisit next week.\nCoordinate with 619 Labs to confirm dates and co
ntent for the PCB and IoT\nworkshops.\nFollow up on internship opportuniti
es with We Make 3D and 619 Labs.\n• Rami Troudi (Treasurer):\nFollow up
with potential sponsors like Saida and LBM for responses regarding\nsponso
rship requests.\n• Mohamed Karim Ben Boubaker & Ahmed Cherif (Technical
Team):\nPrepare and deliver the second\, more advanced Arduino training se
ssion\nfocusing on communication protocols.\n• Amine\, Tayssir & Oussema
Jlassi (ECBC):\nFinalize the skeleton for the challenge to be held during
the second semester.\nPlan fundraising efforts for the challenge.\n• Ta
yssir:\nOrganize the RTC info session as soon as possible\, ideally by Mon
day\, and\nensure the poster is ready.\n• All Members:\nBegin brainstorm
ing for project ideas aligned with professional student projects\n(third-y
ear) and final-year assignments (fourth-year).\n• Plan logistics for the
ENSI competition\, including transportation.\n• Further research and pr
opose a camping location for the team-building event\nafter exams.\n\nAgen
