 ng a guest. The event will include reception at 6 pm with fruit &amp; cheese a
 ppetizer and 1 wine/beer/soft drink provided by Phantom Canyon followed by
  Burger Buffet dinner with hamburger/chicken burger\, salad\, cole slaw\, 
 beans. A vegetarian option will be available. The LMAG and Section will co
 ver a majority of costs but we request a $20 attendance fee for this event
 .\n\nThe meal will be followed by a Presentation &quot;Tesla&#39;s Magnifying Trans
 mitter&quot; by David BONDURANT\, IEEE Pikes Peak Section Chair. This talk will
  describe Tesla&#39;s life story and specifically focus on 1899\, the year tha
 t Tesla spent in Colorado Springs building and testing his experimental la
 boratory located in what is now Memorial Park. This Magnifying Transmitter
  became the first Full Scale Demonstration of a Very Low Frequency Continu
 ous Wave transmitter for wireless telegraphy and power transmission. The S
 ection is working to make this an IEEE Milestone to add to the existing mo
 nument to Tesla currently located at Pikes Peak and Foote Avenue in Memori
 al Park.\n\nTesla&#39;s Magnifying Transmitter located near the Union Printer
