DESCRIPTION:IEEE ICMACC 2024 organizing a Lightning Talk on Shaping the Fut
ure & Panel Discussion on Leading the Charge on 20th December 2024 at VNRV
JIET from 4 PM to 6 PM.\n\nClimate change& AI : Climate change is a critic
al global issue that demands innovative and scalable solutions. As we stri
ve to understand and mitigate its impacts\, Artificial Intelligence (AI) h
as emerged as a game-changing tool in the fight against climate change. Th
is talk delves into how AI is being used to tackle climate challenges thro
ugh enhanced data analysis\, predictive modeling\, and optimization techni
ques. From improving climate predictions and tracking carbon emissions to
optimizing renewable energy systems and advancing climate-smart agricultur
e\, AI is helping to drive more effective\, data-driven strategies for cli
mate adaptation and mitigation. By exploring successful case studies and c
utting-edge research\, this session will highlight the potential of AI to
support sustainable development goals and address the complex dynamics of
climate change. It aims to inspire stakeholders to harness AI for creating
 a resilient\, low-carbon future.\n\nSecurity Challenging with IoT: Intern
et of Things (IoT) is a pervasive technology and they play an important ro
le in Ubiquitous Computing. Numerous application areas such as consumer el
ectronics\, automotive industry\, agriculture\, healthcare\, smart cities\
, communication\, industrial control systems and many more\, make extensiv
e use of IoT. According to a survey\, it is projected that by 2030\, 50 bi
llion devices would be in use globally. It is estimated that 152200 Intern
et of Things (IoT) devices would be connected per minute by 2025. As IoT d
evices proliferate\, a significant number of security risks are anticipate
d to attack IoT enabled infrastructure. Vulnerabilities in IoT devices are
exploited by malware and large scale attacks are launched. The operation
of the endpoints and networks may be seriously impacted if the IoT device
is compromised and malicious behavior is introduced. We are already witnes
sing them through Mirai and other attacks.\n\nInnovation in sensor technol
ogy: The rapid advancement in sensor technology is fundamentally transform
ing diverse fields\, from healthcare and environmental monitoring to auton
omous systems and smart cities. Let us explore the groundbreaking advancem
ents that are shaping the next generation of sensor technologies. By analy
sing current trends and future directions\, this provides a comprehensive
overview of how sensor technology is poised to drive significant changes a
cross various domains\, offering insights into its potential to revolution
ize industries and improve quality of life. Furthermore\, the integration
of sensors with emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and the
Internet of Things is expected to enhance their capabilities and applicat
ions. This evolution not only promises to boost operational efficiency but
also to address complex global challenges\, paving the way for innovative
solutions and new opportunities.\n\nInnovation and emerging Technology: T
he world today is in dire need for new models of leadership and economic p
rogress. The past was driven by might and linear thinking. This will not s
erve in a VUCAH or FTP world\, where complexity and chaos are the norm. Th
e 21st century requires greater diversity and inclusion in the workplace\,
leadership and decision making. We need to innovate to build a better and
sustainable tomorrow. This will be possible with a focus on building the
new workforce with a different skill set. Skills and not jobs are what wil
l drive the 21st Century. And emerging technologies are making old jobs re
dundant. This talk will highlight the nexus between Innovation\, Emerging
Technologies and Skilling to thrive in the new world.\n\nRecent Trend in e
merging technology: In today's rapidly evolving world\, innovation and eme
rging technologies play a pivotal role in shaping the future across divers
e industries. This talk delves into the transformative potential of key te
chnological advancements such as Artificial Intelligence\, the Internet of
Things (IoT)\, Blockchain\, 5G\, and renewable energy solutions. By explo
ring the convergence of these technologies\, we highlight how they are dri
ving efficiency\, sustainability\, and new business models. The discussion
will focus on how innovation can address global challenges\, foster susta
inable development\, and create opportunities for growth in a technology-d
riven economy. Attendees will gain insights into the latest trends\, pract
ical applications\, and strategies to leverage these technologies for a co
mpetitive edge\, ultimately fostering a culture of continuous innovation.\
