DESCRIPTION:We held an exciting IEEE Info Session tailored specifically for
Erasmus students visiting for the day. This session provided an overview
of the IEEE student branch\, its role\, and the numerous opportunities it
offers to students in the fields of engineering\, technology\, and innovat
ion.\n\nThe event began with a campus tour\, showcasing key spaces where I
EEE activities take place\, such as labs\, meeting rooms\, and study areas
. This gave the visiting Erasmus students a chance to get a feel for the v
ibrant academic and tech-focused environment they could be a part of.\n\nW
e presented an engaging introduction to IEEE\, highlighting its global net
work\, technical resources\, and student initiatives. We presented the var
ious ways in which Erasmus students can get involved with IEEE during thei
r exchange\, including participating in local events\, workshops\, and tec
hnical projects\, as well as accessing a wealth of resources and professio
nal development opportunities.\n\nThe session featured an interactive Q&A\
, where current IEEE members shared their experiences\, discussing how the
ir involvement in IEEE has enhanced their academic and professional journe
ys. Students also had the chance to learn about upcoming events\, includin
g hackathons\, seminars\, and networking opportunities with industry profe
ssionals.\n\nBy the end of the session\, students were excited about the p
ossibility of joining IEEE and leveraging the community's resources to fur
ther their academic and professional aspirations in the fields of engineer
ing and technology.\n\nCo-sponsored by: Department of Computer Science and
