DESCRIPTION:In the talk\, we will discuss radio frequency design solutions
for wireless sensor and communication nodes to solve sustainability issues
that arise with the digitalization of the economy and society due to the
massive deployment of wireless nodes on environmental\, economic\, and soc
ietal levels. Engineers can apply these design solutions to improve the ul
tra-low-power operation of wireless nodes\, avoid batteries’ eco-toxicit
y\, and decrease maintenance costs due to battery replacement. The discuss
ed solutions offer high integration levels based on system-on-chip and sys
 tem-in-package concepts in low-cost complementary metal-oxide-semiconducto
r technologies to limit these nodes’ costs and carbon footprints. We wil
 l discuss\, in particular\, solutions for ultra-low-power wireless communi
cation systems based on high-frequency and ultra-high frequency radio freq
uency identification (RFID) technologies.\n\nCo-sponsored by: DR.CHIOMA VI
