Sundaravarathan”\, NITPY IEEE branch counsel lor “Dr.G. Lakshmi Sudha”\, HOD EEE “Dr.G.Koperundevi”. During the inauguration\, convenor of the short-term course Dr. A. Venkadesan\, welc omed the gathering by presenting saplings to the guests. The co-ordinator of the short-term course Dr. Ram Jethmalani C H explained about the object ives of the course and session details of the course. The keynote session titled “Artificial Intelligence\, Machine Learning and Deep Learning in Decision Making applications” by [Dr.Sishaj P Simon](https://www.powersy stem.iitm.ac.in/kss.html) followed the inauguration. Along with the partic ipants from various colleges across India\, faculty members\, staffs\, and students of NITPY attended the inauguration and keynote session. Several sessions on AI and ML techniques were delivered experts along with the pra ctical hands-on training using Collab and Matlab in Simulation Laboratory/ EEE. The course had an overwhelming response\, with 60 registered particip ants from various institutes across India. The participants were provided with both theory and practical hands-on training sessions. The course mate rial is also provided for a better understanding.
