DESCRIPTION:So here's a quick question for you: if you could have any car t
hat is currently available\, which one would you select? We may all dream
of Ferraris\, Lamborghinis\, and Porsches\, but they probably wouldn't do
so well for our day-to-day driving. A Corvette would be nice\, but gosh da
rn they are pretty small and don't have a lot of trunk room. Hmm\, what el
se is available to us? Oh yeah\, a Tesla.\n\nSo just exactly what is a Tes
la? The good folks at Tesla make a Model S\, a Model X\, and soon a Model
3. The Model S is designed from the ground up to be the safest\, most exhi
larating sedan on the road. With unparalleled performance delivered throug
h Tesla's unique\, all-electric powertrain\, Model S accelerates from 0 to
60 mph in as little as 2.5 seconds. Model S comes with Autopilot capabili
ties designed to make your highway driving not only safer\, but stress fre
e.\n\nIf you've never seen a Tesla up close\, these cars are fantastic. Th
ey are all electric and so there is no motor – just a very large battery
. The driver has a massive touch screen panel positioned so that he or she
can control every aspect of the car with a touch. The car even comes with
a wireless link that allows the car's software to be automatically update
d at night without you being involved.\n\nYes\, you probably will eventual
ly own one of these masterpieces. Shouldn't you find out everything about
them that you can? Good news – your IEEE PACE team is going to reveal al
l of the secrets that go into a Tesla to you. Representatives from Tesla a
re going to come and tell us everything that we ever wanted to know about
their cars.\n\nAs a part of this presentation\, the good folks from Tesla
have offered to allow particpants to also take a test drive of either a Te
ala Model S or Model X car. If you'd like to participate in the Tesla test
drive (you could just come to the presentation\, that's ok also)\, you ne
ed to sign up for the test drive. You do that here:\n\nhttps://www.tesla.c
