DESCRIPTION:As part of the IEEE Day celebrations\, the IEEE Women in Engine
ering Student Affinity Group at RIT Dubai hosted an Intro to Arduino Works
hop aimed at introducing students to the basics of Arduino and microcontro
ller programming. The event began with a brief introduction to Arduino\, h
ighlighting its applications and differences from platforms like Raspberry
Pi. Participants were guided through setting up a breadboard\, making bas
ic circuit connections\, and learning to control components such as LEDs a
nd servo motors. Students had the opportunity to write their own code usin
g the Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to operate these co
mponents\, gaining practical experience in both hardware and programming.\
